Summer Shadowing Opportunities at RISE Foundation

In the summer, the Rise Foundation offers shadowing opportunities for high school students and early college students at the Premier Clinic. Participants will engage in various tasks, enhancing their medical knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology.

Tasks Students May Assist With:
1. Observing patient interactions
2. Assisting with basic clinical procedures
3. Learning about medical documentation
4. Understanding patient care protocols
5. Participating in discussions on medical ethics

RISE Foundation’s Co-Founder, Radhika, brings years of professional experience and leadership to support individuals at every stage of their journey. Through her initiative Rising Strong with Radhika, she offers personalized coaching and mentorship for students, early-career professionals, aspiring leaders, and senior professionals looking to grow, transition, or reinvent their careers.

Radhika has conducted numerous coaching sessions and workshops focused on interview preparation, career development and transitions, podcast coaching, and one-on-one mentorship. She also provides specialized pageant training and delivers insightful talks on topics such as Generative AI, data and cloud modernization, sales leadership, go-to-market strategy and acceleration, innovation, and digital transformation. Her goal is to empower individuals with the confidence, skills, and clarity needed to rise, reinvent themselves, and make a meaningful impact.

The panel discussion provided a comprehensive overview of breast cancer, focusing on key areas such as statistics, prevention strategies, treatment modalities, and recent advancements in care. A dedicated Q&A session allowed for robust audience participation, fostering an engaging atmosphere.
The evening concluded with thought-provoking questions regarding topics like the impact of deodorants on breast cancer risk and the vital role of support groups for those affected by the disease.
Moderated by Hari Kadakol and Maahika Singh, the panel featured esteemed experts: Dr. Corinne Costellic, Dr. Paul J. Chuba, Dr. Deepa Jagtap, and Dr. Shylaja Rastogi. Each panelist brought a wealth of knowledge, enriching the discussion and enhancing the audience's understanding of this critical health issue.
